Documentary is at the core of how I capture family sessions. I focus on real, unposed moments—the laughter, the normal, and everything in between. Of course, we’ll still get the classic “smile and look at me” photo, but I want to capture your family just as you are.
What's your approach to photos?
The best location for your family session is really up to you! I have a location guide to help narrow down options, but I love working outdoors and capturing families in natural settings. If you’d prefer a cozy at-home session or a studio environment, I’m happy to make that happen too! The key is choosing a place that feels right for your family.
What's the best location for my session?
When it comes to what to wear, I always recommend keeping it comfortable and true to your style. Neutral tones or soft colors tend to photograph beautifully and won’t distract from the moment. You can also mix in textures and layers to add depth. If you need more ideas, feel free to ask! Ultimately, I want you to feel relaxed and confident during the session.
What should we wear?
